A 'blue cruise' (mavi yolculuk) is Türkiye's most beloved way to see the coast: a few unhurried days aboard a traditional wooden gulet, sleeping on the sea and waking in a new bay each morning. Here's everything you need to plan one from Kaş.
What is a blue cruise?

It's a multi-day cruise on a gulet — a broad, comfortable wooden sailing yacht with cabins, shaded decks and a crew who cook for you. You spend days swimming and exploring, and nights anchored in quiet coves. Cruises can be shared (book a cabin) or privately chartered for a family or group.
The Kekova route from Kaş
Short cruises from Kaş follow the spectacular Kekova coast: the sunken city, the castle village of Simena, Aquarium Bay and a string of swimming coves around Üçağız. It's the most scenic, history-rich stretch of the whole Turquoise Coast — and far quieter once the day boats head home.
How to choose & what to pack

Decide between a shared cabin cruise (sociable, better value) and a private charter (your own pace and privacy), and match the length to your time — even 3–4 days is plenty for the Kekova coast. Pack light: swimwear, a towel, sun protection, a light layer for evenings and soft-soled shoes. Leave hard suitcases behind — soft bags fit cabins better.
