Kaş is wildly photogenic — all turquoise water, bougainvillea lanes and golden light. Whether you shoot on a phone or a full kit, here are the spots and timings that make the most of it.
Sea & sunset views

The Çukurbağ peninsula road delivers the classic Kaş postcard — turquoise bays backed by mountains, best in late afternoon. For sunsets, the western tip of the peninsula and the harbour both glow. On the water, a sunset cruise puts the colours and the town skyline in the same frame.
History & old-town details
Above the centre stand Lycian rock tombs, dramatic at sunset; the King's Tomb sits right in a town street. Wander the old-town lanes for bougainvillea-draped doorways, blue shutters and cats in doorways — the details that make Kaş feel like Kaş.
From the water & the air

The turquoise is most spectacular from above and from the sea. A boat trip gets you over the Kekova sunken city and into bays no road reaches; bring a polarising filter or use your phone's HDR to cut glare. Drone flying is restricted in places, especially near the harbour and sites — always check local rules.
